Pearl Drums are simply the best drums on the market. They are the industry leader in quality and sound. Not to mention they look amazing too! Charlie’s kit of choice is a Session Series in Sunburst Fade. Sizes are: 10″ tom, 12″ tom and a 16″ floor tom (occasionally a 14″ as well). A 22×18″ Kick Drum and various snares. Hardware includes a Pearl Icon Rack with lots of stuff hanging off of it. An Eliminator Double Bass Pedal and Hi-Hat. Says Charlie: “For me Pearl is simply the best! Paiste is know for its amazing sounding cymbals and the Alpha Serious is just another example of their high end quality. But guess what? These cymbals cost a fraction of the top of the line cymbals and still retain that Paiste quality. No joke. Try ‘em out for yourself and see. Along with his full assortment of Alpha’s Charlie also uses the Signature Series, Rudes (favorite china!), Sound Formula and 2002’s. Says Charlie: “Paiste doesn’t make a cymbal I don’t like. MXL revolutionized the Condenser Microphone business when they introduced the MXL 2001 in 1999. And since then they have not rested on their laurels.
