Day number two at NAMM was a very good day! I met some very cool new people at ART and Allan & Heath. Got to me Michaels and Steve Lobmeir at Evans Drumheads for the first time which was really great. I never know what to expect on first meeting but they were very, very cool! I’m happy to be apart of the Evans Drumhead family!

The Paiste party was a blast as usual. It’s a very low key hang with some great food and a lot of great musicians. Paiste is an awesome company full of incredible people that I just can’t say enough good things about. Here are a few photos from the Paiste Booth.

My friends over at MXL have had an amazing show so far. If you haven’t checked out these microphones you should because they are absolutely amazing. Plus there is a pretty cool dude on the side of the Cube Microphone box.

I have also had the pleasure of hanging out with some great musicians and long lost friends this year. It has been amazing reconnecting with so many people that I’ve lost touch with. Greg Weiss (bass player for Speak No Evil) was there today, I ran into Mark Morse, another one of my teachers from Music Tech days, I got to hang out with my buddy Marcel Blanchet who is a great drummer from the east coast that I haven’t seen since 2002. I also ran into a few old classmates from Music Tech and several past students of mine from Musicians Institute (Greg Garman was one of them and he is playing with Salena Gomez now).

I shot a few (very rough) videos with my iPhone today that I’m working on uploading to YouTube at the moment. Once there up I’ll post some links. In the meantime here are a few more photos from today. I’ll do a full gallery tomorrow.

Enjoy!
