Mozane’s New Music Video

A few days ago we told you about a new track from Mozane called “Time For Freedom”. The music video has been released and can be viewed on Mozane’s YouTube Channel.

What is “Time For Freedom” about? We’ll let Shab tell you.

“Dear friends -

As you know, the people of Iran have been tirelessly fighting that last couple of months for their rights to a democracy and the freedom to have an honest vote. Being an Iranian, it has been bittersweet to watch innocent people lose their lives simply for using their voice, however I have never been more proud of the people of Iran for standing up and fighting for change! It has been very hard to sit back and just watch the tragic events that have taken place, videos like the one of ‘Neda’ continue to haunt me and while an overwhelming sense of helpnessess sits with me, the one thing I knew I could do was use my voice.

Below is a link to a song I wrote that was inspired by Neda and the thousands of others who have and continue to fight for freedom.
