Over the past few years my website has gone through several major overhauls and a lot of minor ones. With each update it improved but it was never quite up to the level that I wanted it to be. Navigation was always quite simple, the look (I thought) was always cohesive and eye catching but the functionality was, in my opinion, always lacking. Everything was there but I never thought I was able to really use the site the way I wanted too. And being the technology geek that I am (more on that later) I just couldn’t live with that.

Well, now I feel like we are there. It’s taken a while but I’m really excited about the evolution of the new site. It’s exciting to know that I can finally do all of the things that I couldn’t do in the past. Video being one of those. Yes, we had video before but it was never quite right. In the coming months the video section, Basher TV, is going to grow immensely! We have a few videos for your viewing pleasure right now but they are really just a teaser to what’s to come. Ahh, I better shut up on that now. You’ll find out soon enough.

The other component that I really wanted was a blog that was integrated with the site. There are plenty of different blog programs and sites out there but none that could be apart of the site. With Wordpress we now have that feature. I hoping that having the blog integrated into the site it will make it easier and more fun for me to get my thoughts out and get your thoughts as well. I’ll post everything from experiences on gigs, sessions and my thoughts on drumming and the music business. Anything goes really.

Anyway I want to welcome everyone to the new site. I’m looking forward to the many upcoming features and interacting with you in a new an exciting way. So until the next time let’s make some Serious Noize!
